Synopsis

Suhaan Kapoor (Salman Khan) and Agastya Rao (Akshay Kumar) have nothing in common except for one thing.

Suhaan is the cool, long haired rock singer who has dreams to make it big, is the perfect guy to fall in love with, but can be immature at times when it comes to take control of his life.

Agastya is the sweet, lovable, studious nerd who becomes tongue-tied when it comes to expressing his feelings to a girl, he is shy and believes in the power of love.

They have one similarity- their love for Piya Goyal (Preity Zinta).

Piya has everything: beauty, brains and wealth, yet she is vulnerable and lonely. During their university years, neither Suhaan or Agastya tell Piya how they feel. They each leave college going their seperate ways.

Ten years have passed. Suhaan has achieved his dream of becoming a rock star and lives in a perfect world but lacks love. Agastya has become an astronaut with NASA and has dedicated everything to his work. Piya is alone and still waiting for true love to happen.
